Report Of Crashed Message

This applies to units with firmware revisions below 11. Firmware issues including and
above 11.0 do not have this facility as it is not required. The unit has a built in facility
which ensured that it is restarted should a fault occur with the microprocessor part. This
has been implemented to force the unit to restart so that the battery connected is not
subjected to high rates of current during the fault condition. If during operation the unit
beeps and displays the message

"CRASHED"

on the display, followed by the normal

powered up display, this is indicative of this condition arising. If this repeatedly occurs
along with other anomalies the unit has developed a fault and should be taken out of
commission and moved to the repair facility.
