7. Lift the fan from the fan-holder.
8. Install the replacement fan.
9. Set the fan assembly into the system. Use caution to make sure you do not pinch 

any cables.

10. Route the cable from the fan at the right around the right side of the assembly and 

under the clip at the front of the fan bracket.

11. Connect the fans to the server board.
12. Install the processor air duct. For instructions. see 

“Installing the Processor Air 

Duct” on page 31
