The following sections describe power ratings and requirements for the Intel
®
IXP2800 and Intel
®
IXP2850 Network Processors.
2.1
Power Ratings
Operation beyond the functional operating temperature range (see
Table 5
) is not recommended
and extended exposure beyond this range may affect reliability.

list the
functional operating voltage ranges;

Table 11
provide example power values.
Note:
Under all operating conditions, the 3.3 V – 1.35/1.3/1.2 V and 3.3 V – 2.5 V supply voltage
difference (V
DELTA
) must
not
be exceeded; otherwise, permanent damage to the device may result.
Also, the Core/PLL supply voltage must never be less than 1.1 V (see
Table 4
).
