IXP28XX Network Processor

In This Guide

This document comprises the following chapters and appendixes that describe the IXP28XX
network processor:

•

Chapter 2, “Power Ratings and Requirements,”

describes the minimum and maximum

operating voltages and temperatures.

•

Chapter 3, “RDRAM,”

describes the IXP28XX network processor’s Rambus* DRAM

implementation.

Chapter 4, “QDR SRAM,”

describes the IXP28XX network processor’s four independent

SRAM controllers, each of which supports pipelined QDR synchronous static RAM (SRAM).
