Inspection:

Before  each  use,  inspect  the  XTIRPA 

system to determine if it is in perfect work-

ing condition.

At least once a month, the XTIRPA system 

components  should  be  inspected  and 

documented  by  a  competent  person  in 

accordance with the user’s instruction and 

safety manual.

Do not use if inspection reveals a problem, 

an unsafe condition or a defect. Must not be 

repaired by anyone other than the manufac-

turer  or  an  authorized  service  center. 

Cannot be repaired by the user.

Installation and use:

Ensure that all components and parts are in 

perfect working condition and working prop-

erly. Make sure that your anchoring points 

are in perfect working condition.

Remove  both  handle  pins  from  their 

location.  Place  davit  arm  sleeve  onto  the 

integrated  mast  of  the  manhole  guard 

and/or onto the mast.

Place  the  lower  leg  of  the  davit  arm 

between the lower eyelets of the manhole 

guard  and/or  the  mast  and  lock  with  the 

handle pin. Lock the davit arm sleeve onto 

the manhole guard or mast with the second 

handle  pin.  Install  lifeline/winch  onto  the 

mounting bracket or adaptor on top of the 

davit  arm  and  pass  cable/rope  into  the 

pulley at the top of the davit arm. Remove 

the  pin  located  in  the  middle  of  the  davit 

arm, fully extend the mast, and then replace 

the pin to lock everything in place.

If  a  material/positioning  winch  is  required, 

use  the  mounting  bracket  or  adaptor 

located under the davit arm. It is strictly pro-

hibited  to  use  the  bracket  below  the  mast 

with a fall arrest winch or lifeline.

Remove the small pulley locking pin.

Pass the winch cable through the opening, 

reposition  the  pulley  under  the  cable  and 

lock back in place using locking pin.

Only adaptors and brackets approved, cer-

tified  and  recommended  by  the  manufac-

turer  are  to  be  used  with  the  XTIRPA 

system.

Warning:

For all other davit arm applications, consult 

manufacturer or distributor.

Manufacturer’s  instructions  must  be  fol-

lowed  for  proper  use  and  maintenance  of 

this  product.  Alteration  or  misuse  of  the 

XTIRPA system or of any component or part 

thereof or failure to follow instructions may 

result  in  serious  injury  or  death,  for  which 

the  Manufacturer  disclaims  all  warranties 

and liabilities whatsoever. The user, owner 

and purchaser of the XTIRPA system waive 

all claims, rights and recourses against the 

Manufacturer arising therefrom.

Inspection:

mine that it is in perfect working condition. At least once 

a month, all components of the XTIRPA system should 

be inspected by a competent person in accordance with 

the user’s instruction and safety manual.

manufacturer or an authorized service center. Must not

Installation and use:

king condition and working properly. Make sure that the 

anchoring  points  are  in  perfect  working  condition. 

Remove retaining pin of the anchor adaptor, mast exten-

sion or/and approved and certified fixed or mobile adap-

ter.  Insert  mast  into  the  anchor  point  and  always  lock 

with the retaining pin

Warnings:

For all other mast applications, consult manufacturer or 

distributor. 

Manufacturer’s instructions must be followed for proper 

use  and  maintenance  of  this  product.  Alterations  or 

misuse  of  this  product  or  failure  to  follow  instructions 

may result in serious injury or death, for which for which 

the manufacturer and distributor accepts no warranty or 

responsibility claims. The user, owner and purchaser of 

the  XTIRPA  waive  all  claims,  rights  and  remedies 

against the manufacturer and distributor.

Inspection:

The  components  of  the  XTIRPA 

system  should  be  inspected  and 

documented by a qualified person at 

least  once  a  month  in  accordance 

with  the  user’s  instructions  and 

safety manual. Do not use if any pro-

blem,  safety  issue  or  flaw  is  found 

upon inspection. The repair must be 

carried out by the manufacturer or an 

authorized  service  center  only.  Not 

to be repaired by the user.

Installation and use:

Ensure  that  the  anchorage  point  of 

the  XTIRPA  system  meets  the 

required  capacity  specifications. 

Insert the ‘’T’’ bar into sleeve support 

and lock. Insert in the vehicle com-

partment or another anchorage point 

and adjust the ‘’T’’ bar height using 

locking  pin. Adjust  the  level  of  the 

XTIRPA system using the two stabi-

lizer screws on each side of the spirit 

level. Install the mast into the sleeve 

and  lock.  Install  the  davit  arm  and 

the  winch  as  per  Manufacturer’s 

recommendations  for  these  pro-

ducts.

IMPORTANT:  follow  the  standards 

used by recognized organisations for 

the use of this type of equipment with 

a motorized vehicle.

Secure your working area by using a 

manhole guard to avoid falling. Refer 

to  user’s  instructions  and  safety 

manual for additional information.

Warning:

It  is  imperative  to  position  the 

XTIRPA system on a hard and level 

surface.  Do  not  use  the  XTIRPA 

system on soft ground, such as but 

not limited to sand, grass, gravel and 

rocks. For a proper use and mainte-

nance  of  this  product,  follow  the 

manufacturer’s  instructions.  Any 

alteration or misuse of this product or 

failure  to  follow  instructions  may 

result in serious injury or death. The 

manufacturer  or  distributor  rejects 

any  related  warranty  or  liability 

claims. The user, owner and buyer, 

of  the  XTIRPA  waive  all  claims,

Ensure  that  the  anchorage  point  of 

the  XTIRPA  system  meets  the
