Description of auxiliary contacts
Power and communication terminals
1 - 2:
V+ V- power supply connection of the Control Pan-
el. There are two cases distinguished:
• No relay output used: the power supply can come from
the heat pump board with a two-core cable with a min-
imum cross-section area of 0.5 mm² and a maximum
length of 50 m.
• Minimum one relay output used: the power supply must
come from a separate source with 12 or 24 VDC character-
istics, 3W + the power required by the coils of the relays
used.
3 - 4:
H+ L- serial connection to the control panel. The
connection is polarised. Use a core shielded cable
for RS485 serial connection, minimum cross-section
area of 0.35 mm², maximum length of 100 m, sepa-
rated from the power supply cables.
5 - 6:
A+ B- Modbus connection for control with external
supervisor.
Probe terminals
7 - 9:
connection of plant temperature probe PT1. For the
cases of use, see the chapter on plant water man-
agement in the Control Panel manual.
8 - 9:
connection of domestic hot water tank tempera-
ture probe PT4.
The probes are supplied with the unit. Position the probe
used in a suitable sump on the relevant tank (max. distance
50 m).
Digital input terminals
10 - 13:
TA consent from room thermostat or general volt-
age-free contact
• Closed contact: the unit is switched on for heating or cool-
ing the plant water.
• Open contact: the unit is switched off for heating or cool-
ing the plant water
If the domestic hot water function is active, this function
has priority even when the contact is open.
The terminals are supplied jumped (contact closed). Re-
move the jumper to connect the TA consent.
11 - 13:
S configurable input for activating/deactivating the
Silent function or for switching the Cooling/Heating
operating mode. The Silent function reduces the
noise level of the appliance by lowering the work-
ing frequency of the compressor and the fan.
• Operation must be activated by parameter
PF5
(see Con-
trol Panel manual).
