Diesel Particulate Filter Reset (General Motors)
1.
Select
Diesel Particulate Filter Reset
in the Service Reset menu,
then press
ENTER
.
A “One moment” message displays, followed by the Diesel
Particulate Filter Reset menu.
2.
Select the desired option, then press
ENTER
.
One or more “informational/instructional” screens display.
3.
Choose
Next
, as appropriate, to scroll to the next screen.
For some vehicles, a “confirmation” screen displays.
4.
Select
On
or
Reset
, as appropriate.
A “confirmation” or “results” screen displays when the routine is
completed.
If the routine does not complete successfully, an “advisory”
message may display. Choose
End
to return to the Diesel
Particulate Filter Reset menu.
5.
Choose
Exit
to return to the Diesel Particulate Filter Reset menu,
then choose
Back
to return to the Service Reset menu.
Diesel Particulate Filter Reset (Nissan)
1.
Select
Diesel Particulate Filter Reset
in the Service Reset menu,
then press
ENTER
.
An “instructional” screen displays. Prepare the vehicle for test as
directed.

Choose
Next
to continue.
A “status” screen displays while the routine is in process.
A “confirmation” screen displays when the routine is completed.
If the routine does not complete successfully, an “advisory”
message displays. Choose
Exit
to return to the Service
Reset menu.

to return to the Service Reset menu.
