Exercise extrem e caution w hen using booster battery. To jum p battery, connect
ends of one booster cable to the positive (+) term inal of each battery. C onnect
one end of other cable to the negative (-) term inal of the booster battery and other
end to a ground connection aw ay from dead battery (to avoid a spark occurring
near any explosive gases that m ay be present). A fter starting unit, alw ays
disconn ect cables in reverse order.

N ever inspect or service unit w ithout first disconnecting battery cable(s) to prevent
accidental starting.

W ear eye protection w hile cleaning unit w ith com pressed air, to prevent debris
from injuring eyes.

H O T PR ESSU R IZED FLU ID - R em ove cap slow ly to relieve PR ESSU R E from HOT
radiator. Protect skin and eyes. H O T water or steam and chem ical additives can
cause serious personal injury.

Flam m able Fuels - D o not fill tank w hen engine is running.

D o not sm oke or use an open flam e in the vicinity of the generator set or fuel tank.

D o not perm it sm oking, open flam e, or sparks to occur near the battery, fuel,
cleaning solvents or other flammable substances and explosive gases.

D o not operate G enset if fuel has been spilled inside or near the unit.
