The default administrator user name is "admin" with the password
as "12345678", and the default langue is English.

4.2.2 User Authority
There're 12 operation authorities, as follows:
Remote live view: preview from client end remotely
Remote playback: playback from client end remotely
Local playback: play back recording file
View log: view log information
PTZ: PTZ control
Alarm: alarm control
Intercom: talk back
Manual recording: manual recording control
Parameter: settings of display, time, image parameters, channel,
preview, recording, alarm input, alarm output, exception, network,
PTZ/COM, and factory default.
System: shutdown, reboot and upgrade system, restore to factory
settings
User: user assignment (Administrator has user management
authority; the administrator can add and delete user and modify user
password. The common users can modify his/her password only.)
Data: recording backup and hard disk management
When the user performs the above operations, he needs to input an
authorized user name and password, or he will fail to operate the
DVR or the control button is unavailable.

The DVR's operation interfaces include different modes as follows:

With the keys combination on the front panel, users can enter and
switch among different operation interfaces.
The default menu is preview status. In preview status, users could
live view the image transmitted by front-end cameras.
In the Preview status, right-click the mouse will open the menu (we
call shortcut menu in the manual). The shortcut menu includes the
quick enter keys of the common operations, such as System
Information, Dome Control, Playback, Record and Alarm; and
partial functions of the shortcut keys, such as switching of
multi-screen display modes, switching of preview channels,
preview the next screen, stop the preview auto switching, stop the
monitor switching, display or hide the status column, and
enable/disable the mouse control of domes etc.
Note:
Except on the main output monitor, there will be no options
like Main Menu, Playback, Record and Alarm.
Preview electronic zoom: on the shortcut menu, click “zoom” to
display the electronic zoom interface. Drag the red frame to select
the different area for viewing. And right-click the option “cancel the
electrical zoom” can return to the standard preview mode.
4.3.1 Switch Preview Modes
Split screen: Press

on the front panel or the “Multi-screen”
option on the shortcut menu to switch the preview mode between 1
and 4 screens.
Monitor Switching: the default output is VGA monitor output.
Switch the monitors via mouse: in the VGA preview status,
right-click to open the shortcut menu and select “Monitor
Switching”. And then select “TV output” in the submenu. Then the
mouse cursor and operation menu will switch to monitor 2; if you
chose “Auxiliary output” in the submenu, then the mouse cursor
and operation menu will switch to monitor 3. In like manner, you
can switch to VGA monitor and BNC2 monitor in the BNC1
preview status.
Main out switching: the default main output is VGA output.
Switch the main output via mouse: in the preview status, right-click
and select "Switch main output" on the shortcut menu, and then
select “BNC” on the submenu. Click “OK” in the prompt box to
confirm the selection. And then the main output is already changed
