 Sion Operating Manual

1.3  Unpacking, Inspection, and Inventory of Supplied Items

1

Carefully remove all pieces the Sion from the shipping container. Some items 
may be in anti-static packaging and care should be taken during installation to 
not damage these sensitive components.

CAUTION - Static Sensitive Device

Use ESD precautions when components are removed 
from anti-static packaging.

Verify that there is no obvious damage to any components that may have 
occurred during shipping. Contact the shipper if damage due to shipping is 
found.

Check that component quantities are correct for the system configuration listed 
on the purchase order. (See 

Table 1-1

.) Contact your INFICON representative 

if any components are missing.

Save the shipping container until the equipment is installed and performance is 
verified. If there is a problem, refer to
