NOTICE
Priming the fuel system is required before starting
your engine for the first time. This allows the electric
fuel pump to fill the fuel injection lines with gasoline.
Each time you advance the ignition switch to the “ON”
position, the fuel pump cycles for 2 seconds.
3. This procedure is only necessary for the first time the engine
is started or in the event the fuel tank is run dry. Prime the fuel
system by cycling the fuel pump three to four times before the
engine is started for the first time. To prime:
x
Turn the ignition key ON for 5 seconds.
x
Turn the ignition key OFF for 5 seconds.
x
Repeat above three to four times.
