Warning: Do not remove this module unless a replacement can be immediately added. The
system must not be run without all units in place.

Inserting the Module

Check for damage, especially to the rear connector on the Power Supply module
Warning
Handle the module carefully and avoid damaging the connector pins. Do not install the module if
any pins appear to be bent.

Slide the retaining bracket upwards, until it is clear of the side of the Power Supply module.

Grip the handle, lift the latch on the front of the Power Supply module and slide the module into the
enclosure. The latch engages automatically.

Return the retaining bracket to the centre position and tighten the securing screws.

Connect the power supply cord to the power source.
4.7.2 Cooling Module
4.7.2.1
Removing the Module
Warning
Do not remove the faulty Cooling module unless you have a replacement unit or Cooling module
blank ready for insertion.

Loosen the screws securing both retaining brackets (see
Figure 4–4
) and slide the brackets up or down,
depending on the location of the Cooling module to be removed, until they are clear of the sides of the
Cooling module.
