Step

Action

5 - All scanners

The recovery procedure starts
automatically.
It replaces the corrupted content of
the

Scan2Net Linux partition

with the content of the recovery
partition.
This process takes about 10 - 15
minutes.
At the end, it powers down the
scanner.

6 - All scanners

Wait until the scanner has powered
down.

7 - All scanners

Switch it off via the main power
switch.

8 - Scanners with recovery key

Remove the recovery key from the
connector on the rear side of the
scanner.

9 - All scanners

Switch on the scanner via its main
power switch.

10 - All scanners

Power up the scanner via the start
button.

After this procedure is complete, all network credentials are lost.
Important: The default IP address is now reset to the factory default
192.168.1.50!

To set up your own network configuration, please refer to the chapter
Assign the IP Address in this Setup and Instructions manual.
