Zone definition - transfer of values
The values are transferred to the 3D sensor� Then the 3D sensor is restarted�
The 3D sensor is not available during this restart�
If the buzzer beeps after restarting the 3D sensor:
► Press the 4 function keys simultaneously (→ "9 Operating and display elements").
► In the expert settings of the I/O module, set the volume of the acoustic warning signal to "Off" (→
"10.1.2 Expert settings").

Zone definition - zones
Via the zone definition, the width
and length of the zones can
be set� The zones represent
risk levels, with the [ ] zone
representing the lowest risk level
and the [ ] zone representing
the highest risk level�
In the expert settings, the left
and right areas of the zone
are set separately� This makes
asymmetrical zones possible (if
the 3D sensor is not mounted
centrally).
Objects within the [ ] zone
are ignored� This is particularly
suitable for obstructions in the
detection range of the 3D sensor�
The width and length of the zones can be set� The left and right
areas of the zone are set separately� Adding the left and right areas
gives the total width�
The minimum detection height is set under "min. height". Objects
below the minimum detection height are ignored� This reduces false
triggering by

ramps,
●
uneven ground,
●
objects close to the ground�
