Section 3 - Servicing

VICING

3.14 RETURN THERMISTOR REPLACEMENT

1. Isolate and drain down the boiler.

2. Remove the clip from the pump housing and remove

the thermistor.

3. Disconnect the electrical lead from the thermistor.

4. Reconnect the electrical lead to the new thermistor

and reassemble, ensuring that the thermistor is fully
engaged and the clip is correctly located.

3.15 SPARK GENERATOR REPLACEMENT

1. Disconnect the leads from the spark generator.

2. Gently push down the generator to release the top clip

from the gas valve mounting bracket.

3. Lift the spark generator up and out of the bottom retaining

location point.

3.2

4. Fit the new spark generator and re-assemble

ensuring that the the earth lead is replaced.
