ANALYZING WHY AN ERROR CODE STOPPED THE ICE

MACHINE (CONTINUED)

ERROR CODE #17 (WATER-COOLED ONLY)

Error Code 17 - If excessive cooling is detected when

the machine is FULL or OFF, the machine will continue to

run, but display Er_17.

Possible cause checklist

Water System

Water regulating valve is faulty or stuck

open.

Liquid-line thermistor is open or shorted.

NOTE: Temporarily disconnecting the

thermistor from the PCB will allow the
