CLEANING/SANITIZING PROCEDURE
This procedure must be performed a minimum of
once every six months.
• The ice machine and bin must be disassembled
cleaned and sanitized.
• All ice produced during the cleaning and sanitizing
procedures must be discarded.
• Removes mineral deposits from areas or surfaces
that are in direct contact with water.
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE
CLEANING PROCEDURE
•
The automatic 'WASH' procedure cleans all
components in the water flow path, and is used to
clean the ice machine during the bi-yearly cleaning/
sanitizing procedure.
• This technology will also allow initiation and
completion of a clean or sanitize cycle, after which
the ice machine will stop and the 'ICE/OFF/WASH'
switch returned to 'ICE' again.
EXTERIOR CLEANING
Clean the area around the ice machine as often as
necessary to maintain cleanliness and efficient operation.
Wipe surfaces with a damp cloth rinsed in water to
remove dust and dirt from the outside of the ice machine.
If a greasy residue persists, use a damp cloth rinsed in a
mild dish soap and water solution. Wipe dry with a clean,
soft cloth.
• Never use steel wool or abrasive pads for
cleaning.
