4.8.7 Expand or migrate arrays

With the release of firmware level 6.21 the size of an array can be extended or
the RAID level can be migrated to an other RAID level. To use this function
mostly unused drives are required. The array cannot be smaller after the
operation than before. As long as a synchronize is running the The menu entry

does not exist.

Follow the steps below to migrate the Array-3 from RAID level 5 to RAID level 10
with 6 drives.
