3746-900 preparing for installation

3746-900 in a 3745 Models X1A Configuration

Doors on the front and rear of a 3745/3746/3746-900 and controller expansion give
access to the inside of the units. A clear path must be provided around the config-
uration to access covers. Allow enough space for future expansion, and never
install the machine with its right or left side against a wall or fixed material. Keep a
servicing area 0,75 m (2.5 ft) wide at front and back, and at least 0.85 m (2.80 ft) at
the right and left sides to install/remove the end covers.

Note: The controller expansion can be installed detached from the 3745/46 frame,
refer to Figure 1-7 on page 1-10
