4. Mount the system into the rack enclosure and attach the brackets installed on the
system to the
rack’s posts. Secure the brackets to the rack’s posts by inserting four M6
screws in the designated cage nuts. See Figure 5. Do not tighten the screws yet.

5. Slide the two blades into the left and right rails (see Figure 6) and adjust them to fit
your rack's depth. Use four M6 screws (E) to fix the blades into the rack. Do not tighten
the screws yet.
NOTE: Each switch ships with a cable management bar. Only one cable
management bar is needed for every two switches. This bar should be mounted
using the topmost screw on the top switch blade (U31). This mounting location
will place the cable mounting bar directly between the two spine switches.
6. Secure the system in the rack by tightening the 8 screws inserted in Step 4 and Step
5 with a 4.5 +/- 0.5 Nm torque.

Alternate Method: It is possible to attach the connector side blades to the rack
first and slide the switch into the blades then install the power supply side rail
mounting hardware. If this method is used, leave the rack rail screws (holding
the blades) slightly loose to help the installation alignment. Tighten all hardware
once the switch is mounted.
