Adjusting the output balance
When shipped from the factory, the level is adjusted so that the
magnetic and piezo signals are approximately the same volume.
On models with the 2-band EQ, some EQ settings may cause
there to be a difference between the magnetic and piezo volumes,
or distortion to occur in some cases. If this occurs, you can use
the volume control of the internal preamp (Fig. 65) to adjust the
volume of the piezo signal.

Note
Since the OUTPUT-A jack also functions as a power switch,
you must insert a dummy plug into the OUTPUT-A jack if
you want to use only the OUTPUT-B jack.
Replacing the battery
Remove the battery cover as shown in Figure 66, and replace the
battery with a new 9V battery (S-006P). If the battery runs down,
the sound will become distorted and the performance will deterio-
rate significantly. Replace the battery as soon as possible.
