6.2

Connecting

Connect the measuring lines connected to the measuring objects to the I/O module
inputs. Chapter Accessories and related products describes the connection princi-
ples.

Use an ibaNet FO patch cable (duplex) to connect the device to the ibaPDA com-
puter:



the RX input (X11) of the device with the TX interface of the ibaFOB-D card in the

ibaPDA computer,



the TX output (X10) of the device with the RX interface of the ibaFOB-D card in

the ibaPDA computer.

Once all required cables have been connected, restore the central unit's power sup-
ply connection.

Switch on the voltage supply of the central unit.

6.3

Dismounting

Switch off the device.

Remove all cables.

Hold tight the device and remove the upper and lower fixing screw.

Pull the device or the I/O modules off the backplane.
