Camera Settings:

Frequency: Select the option which best reduces image flicker: 50Hz or 60Hz
•
TV System: NTSC or PAL. Your camera comes pre-programmed with this
setting. If you find that your camera came pre-programmed with the wrong TV
System setting, contact the dealer you purchased the camera from.
•
Mirror: Flips the video image. The options for mirror are:

OFF: Do not use this feature

HORIZONTAL: flip images left to right.
»
VERTICAL: flip images upside-down.
»
BOTH: flip both HORIZONTAL and VERTICAL.

Rate Control: Choose the bit rate of encoding. The options for rate control are:

VBR (Variable Bit Rate): Maintains good image quality, but will consume
more bandwidth. This setting is not recommended for variable scenes such
as outdoor environments, but is best suited for recording to a local storage
drive or based on video analytics, where quality is desired.
»
CBR (Constant Bit Rate): Produces the smoothest streaming for variable
scenes, but is not ideal if highest image quality is desired.
