Compander

Press the key programmed as [Compander] to toggle Compander on/off.

Scrambler

Press the key programmed as [Scrambler] to toggle Scrambler on/off.

Note: Emphasis/de-emphasis features are turned off when scrambler is activated and

turned on when scrambler is deactivated.

GPS Report

When GPS receiver is installed, press the key programmed as [Send GPS] to transmit

your position data.

HDC System

Please define the HDC2400

or HDC1200 System before using. There are 8

HDC2400

Systems and 8 HDC1200 Systems available at the most. These systems can

be assigned to each channel and each HDC Call. Customization of the parameters in

each system is available.

HDC Call

1. Select the desired group and channel.

2. Press [HDC List] key (programmable key) to enter the Function Select Menu.

For HDC 2400

signaling,

Selective Call

(including Individual Call, Group Call, Zone

Call and Broadcast),

Call Alert

Radio Check

Stun

Kill

and

Revive

functions are

available.

For HDC 1200 signaling, all the functions in the menu except Stun are available,

including

Selective Call

Call Alert

Radio Check

Kill,

Revive

and

Remote

Monitor

Notes:

Remote Monitor

should be chosen from the

HDC Advanced

menu, that is,

you have to enter

HDC Advanced

menu.

3. Choose the function and view the preset HDC Call members on the display.

4. Turn the selector knob to select the desired HDC 2400

or HDC1200 Call member.

5. Press the PTT key or PF6 key to complete the call.

Notes:

Before using a HDC Call member, you should configure it first.

Caller ID Display

The caller ID will be displayed on the screen of the receiver when this function is enabled.
