Installing / Changing the Filter Elements

When changing the filter elements make sure that the housing has been
depressurized and that the pump is switched off.

This is to be done as follows:

Switch off the pump and make sure it can’t inadvertently be
switched back on.

Close any suction-side shut-off valves.

Relieve the pressure of the housing. Carefully open the air vent in
the cover plug using a size 10 mm Allen wrench.

The plug contains air vent slits — don't unscrew it

completely.

Open the drain ball valve and capture exiting fluid (make sure to
adhere to occupational safety and environmental protection rules
and regulations).

Air-vent the housing. Completely unscrew the air-vent plug in the
cover.
