Seal the last element shut using the sealing cap.
Failure to do this will impair filtration action.
Put the cover of the OLF 15/30 or intermediate piece of the OLF
45/60 back on:
1. Apply the lower tensioning clamp (OLF 45/60) between the
lower section (a) and the intermediate piece (b) and tighten it
applying a min. of 8 Nm and max. of 20 Nm. Secure using the
counternut.
2. Apply the upper tensioning clamp (OLF 45/60) between the
intermediate piece (b) and the cover (c) and tighten it applying
a max. of 20 Nm. Secure using the counternut.
Apply lubricant to the threads of the tensioning clamp
every time the filters are changed so that it remains easy to
remove (doesn't freeze). We recommend a lubricant containing a
slip additive (Hydac stock no.: 3066287).

Screw the air-vent plug into the cover and screw it tight by hand.
Close the drain ball valve. Open any suction- and pressure-side
valves and switch on the pump.
Fill the receptacle and air-bleed via the air-vent plug in the cover
until fluid exits.
The plug contains air vent slits — don't unscrew it
completely.
Screw in the air-vent plug into the cover tight until no more fluid
exits.
The OLF is now ready for operation.
