Activates TEA authentication (one-time exchange and
password verification to allow the TCP connection to be established)
– requested from the remote
side after the connection is established.

Use “%
K
” to set the TEA key. Set 16 bytes as four quadruples of colon-separated hex values. The
first character identifies the quadruple (0th to 3rd). So, to set the last 4 bytes to the displayed value,
use “%K3:0D:0E:0F:10”. The key is used to verify one-time passwords (OTP) when authenticating
the remote side.

Q: Quiet (Batch) mode
Quiet mode is useful when the configuration parameters need to be handled automatically, with a
script. Quiet mode is enabled with “
Q1
”. After pressing Enter, the device responds with a list of
parameters in the following format:
