DANGEROUS! The spray of water-immiscible cooling lubricants may explode on hotsurfaces (tool tip,
chips)! Reducing the risk: Targeted flooding of ignition (hot surface) Avoid the risk: If possible, use
water-miscible cooling lubricant in the corresponding mixing ratio.
Cleaning of the cooling lubricant tank
• The lubricant consumed should be placed in a container marked unmistakably to avoid confusion with other
liquids.
• Residues in the cooling lubricant circuit (sludge) are hazardous waste and must not be disposed of with
household waste.
• No degreasing CFCs may be used, since the use of these substances in non-closed circuits to a large extent is a
health hazard for the cleaning of the cooling lubricant tank.
• When cleaning, pay attention to complete removal of deposits (especially hard to reach corners and edges).
Remaining impurities are breeding nests for bacteria which infect the freshly bottled emulsion and shorten the
service life dramatically.
• Oil-stained rags are special waste and should not be disposed of with household waste.
• Rags and cleaning agents should be used as sparingly as possible, so as to keep the accumulating waste
volumes small.
More information
An incorrectly chosen coolant may exercise a decisive impact on the manufacturing process, and thus indirectly
cause very high costs. After the end of service life make coolants are special waste that must be disposed of
accordingly. When machining with high performance, the main task of the coolant in the cooling of the tool and
work-piece. In this case, water-miscible cooling lubricants are preferable. For complicated cutting operations
(threading, tapping, groove turning) the cooling lubricant must be predominantly effectively lubricate between
tool and work-piece. Here are water-immiscible means preferable. The efficiency of the flushing of the chips can be
influenced by the arrangement of the cooling lubricant nozzles, as well as the flow rate and pressure of the coolant
jet. Neat coolants are largely unproblematic. However, problems occur in the fog and chips oil removal.

Dismantling
1. Strippers of saddle dismount - upper adjusting screw are exposed.
2. Remove chip tray and mount spindle cover plate - lower register
3. Remove the angle table
Measuring process
1. Set the dial indicator at the height of the upper gib.
2. Saddle to the left (clamping table on the right side push up) and release.
3. Read dial indicator
4. Saddle to the right side, press (clamping table on the right side down print) andrelease.
5. Read the dial indicator, the saddle must now max. 0:01 continues to be right. Otherwise gib screw slightly and
repeat measurement. Fix gauge the level of the lower gib and measured according to the same principle.
