Tests if control panel is changed but faults still
present during the test

Test of switch on control panel. The two switches
on the control panel each send a +5 V signal to
CCU when one of the buttons is pressed. When
the switch for savE is pressed, a +5 V signal is
sent to CCU connector A:3. Depressing the switch
for ACTIVATION (start switch) sends a +5 V signal
to CCU connector A:2. The savE signal goes to
CCU via a gray lead to connector A:3. Pressing
down the savE button and mea5 V on the
pin in the connector under the control panel on the
connector whose lead goes to CCU but not +5 V
on the CCU connector A:3, means there is a break
between the connector under the control panel and
CCU.
The activation (start switch) signal goes to CCU
via a white lead to connector A:2 on CCU. Press-
ing down the activation button and mea5 V
on the pin in the connector under the control panel
on the connector whose lead goes to CCU but not
+5 V on connector A:2 on CCU, means there is
a break between the connector under the control
panel and CCU.

When testing that the outputs from CCU to the
control panel are functioning as they should, the
connector under the control panel must be un-
plugged and the pins measured in accordance with
the signal list that follows.
When activating an output to turn on an LED with
the CST test, the pins in the connector for this
output must be measured to see if the output is ac-
tivated, they should be approximately 11 V on the
pins. If several LEDs are seen to come on when
activating one LED in autotest before starting to
trouble shoot, a note must be made of which LEDs
are lit simultaneously so that you can troubleshoot
just those signals with unplugged connector by
measuring the voltage on the pins.
Check that several leads do not go live when only
one LED is being activated.
