Cuttingdeck safetyswitch
4
Still in Cable 1 is +5 V to the safety switch for
detecting that the cutting deck is mounted. It is
activated when the cutting deck has been correctly
fitted.
Loosen the connection with the orange leads from
the switch and see if +5 V is OK. If +5 V remains,
the brown lead from the microswitch is short
circuited to GND cutting motor control version 2 is
present or the orange leads are contacting GND
when fitted to the microswitch. If the fault persists
after inspecting the microswitch, change the micro-
switch.
Connector D at CCU
D11: +5V out from CCU
5
If all the test have been completed and the fault
still persists despite separating Cables 1 and 2
during the test, you can only dismantle the recep-
tacle for +5 V from CCU D11.
For taking apart the connector, see
10.5
.
Lift the hook holding receptacle 11 in place. Then
pull out the receptacle with the orange lead. When
this has been done, couple connector D into CCU
to see if +5 V is OK. If +5 V is not OK, measure
pin 11 in the D connector with a multimeter to see
whether there really is no +5 V in the connector,
the connector must be assembled. Use a multime-
ter with ohm measurement to see if there is a short
circuit between D11 orange lead +5 V and GND
inside the cable. Measurement should result in a
high ohmage if the cable is OK.
