7.14.2 To disassemble the gearbox
1. Remove the gearbox from the product. Refer to
To
remove the gearbox on page 40.
2. Remove the bushing (K).

3. Remove the snap rings (L and M) with pliers.
4. Remove the grease plug (N).
5. Put on protective gloves. Use a hot air gun to
increase the temperature of the angle gear to
approximately 110°C - 140°C. Hit the gearbox
against a wooden block to loosen the input shaft
assembly.
6. Remove the input shaft assembly (O) from the
gearbox.

7. Increase the temperature of the gearbox to
approximately 140°C.
8. Remove the bearing (T) on the output shaft. If it is
necessary, hit the gearbox against a wooden block
until the bearing falls out.
9. Remove the the gear (V) and bearing (X) from the
output shaft (U).
10. If it is necessary to replace the bearings (R and Q),
remove the snap ring (P) from the input shaft (S).
7.14.3 To assemble and install the gearbox
1. Put the gear (V) on the output shaft (U).

2. Attach the 2 bearings (T and X).
