Appendix 1: usage of photoelectric sampler
When the photoelectric sampler is calibrated on the site, its accurateness and quickness to
light will have a direct impact on the efficiency of field work. Our company attaches great
importance to the development of optoelectronic sampler and supporting quality starting from the
HDGC-1 calibrator, and offers three different solutions to meet different needs.
1. Button photoelectric sampler
It is the most commonly used photoelectric sampler at present, and it is fixed onto the energy
meter relying on two elastic bands. It is provided with automatic tracking, and intelligent
identification of the black belt on energy meter. Its advantages: simple structure, small size and
portability, with intelligent identification. Disadvantages: the front cover of energy meter needs a
convex edge, in order to fix it. Also, affected by the installation position and space of energy meter,
it can not be used for electronic energy meters.
Operating method as follows:
1) At first place the photoelectric sampler in front of the meter to be calibrated, about 10 ~ 30
mm away from the meter. Adjust the up and down spacing, and make the beam center shot
on the disc of the meter.
2) Press the red button, so that the red indicator light is on. After the black flag of the
kilowatt-hour meter disk turns, the red indicator light goes out, light focusing is completed.
