Under the conditions of different power factors, error results identified by the instrument are
not the same, so the instrument displays the results of all four power factors on the screen, and
users must further determine the load power factor at the time. For a hexagonal diagram, generally,
it is possible only in the three power factors.
Interpretation of the hexagonal diagram of line results
The hexagonal diagram of search line results is the same as that of the instrument, but their
identifiers are different. Invert all the negative current, and it should be the hexagonal diagram of
the correct connection of corresponding power factor, but only the reference points shown are
different, and the relative positions are correct.
Notes:
1. The error connection identification means that the instrument intelligently identifies
three-phase three-wire and three-phase four-wire to determine whether the wiring is
wrong. HDGC-8800 instrument can identify 48 common three-phase three-wire error
connections and 96 common three-phase four-wire error connections.
2. The connection is correct only when the results of search lines are Ua Ub Uc Ia Ib Ic or Ua
Ub Uc Ia Ic, and the power factors are correct.
