1.3 Cables
The commonly used cables with the MCU include power cables and external interface cables.
1.3.1 AC Power Cable
For the MCU, the maximum input range of AC power is 100 V to 240 V AC and 50/60 Hz.
The AC power cable includes a live wire, neutral wire, and ground wire.
The power cable is used to transmit AC power from the AC power distribution equipment to
the MCU.
All types of power cables are available for the MCU, such as the standard AC power cables
used in China, Europe, the Commonwealth of Nations, and other countries.
1.3.2 Ethernet Cable
Introduction
There are two types of Ethernet cables: straight through cable and crossover cable.
Straight through cable
The straight through cable is used to connect a terminal to the network. For example, you
can use the straight through cable to connect the maintenance terminal or the network
management workstation to the network.
Crossover cable
The crossover cable is used to connect two terminals. For example, you can use the
crossover cable to connect the maintenance terminal to the maintenance network
interface.
