11 Remote Management from the Web Interface

Setting a Grouping Template

Using grouping templates, different sites can be classified. In a template, the sites are
identified by the defined site names. Using a grouping template, specific sites can be found
quickly. To set a grouping template, do the following:

Choose

Address Book

>

Site Template

to display the page for defining grouping templates.

Create a grouping template.

After the sites contained in a grouping template join a conference, the name of the grouping

template is displayed in the

drop-down list box on the

conference control page for the chair site or non-chair sites.

A template saved successfully is displayed in the

Template name

drop-down list box.

Monitoring Videos

On the conference control page for the chair site, you can view the video and presentation of a
remote site in real time. You can also adjust the sizes of the video and presentation. In this
way, the status and video quality of the remote site can be monitored.

11.4.8 Taking Photos

To ensure that a conference runs smoothly, you may need to monitor how the RP100-55T
operates and whether the local and remote videos are displayed properly in the conference
room. From the RP100-55T web interface, you can take photos and view local and remote
videos and presentations.

Prerequisites

The web login and video monitoring functions are enabled. For details, see 10.2.4 "Allowing
Remote Login."

Procedure

Step 1

Log in to the RP100-55T web interface, and choose

Device Control

Video Control

When you are on the

Video Control

page,

appears on the RP100-55T display to indicate that video

monitoring is enabled.

Step 2

Select the source you want to photograph and click

Capture

.

Step 3

In the displayed window, right-click the photo you have taken.

Step 4

Save Picture As

to save the photo.
