1.1  Introduction 

Quidway S3900 Series Ethernet Switches are wire speed layer 2/layer 3 Ethernet 
switches. They are intelligent NMS-manageable switches intended for the use in a 
network environment where high performance, dense port distribution, and ease of 
installation are required. 

Table 1-1 lists the models in the S3900 series:
