II. Indicators on Panel of 4SA
The front panel of 4SA is shown as follows:

The meanings of the indicators on 4SA are given in the following table:

Meaning
LINK
Off means the Ethernet link is not connected. On means the link is connected.
ACTIVE
Always Off/On means no data is being received or transmitted. Blinking means data is being
received or transmitted.
0 - 3
Corresponding port number.
8.6.5 Interface Cable
I. Interface cable for 2SA
In R2600/3600 series, the interface of 2SA is a 50-pin socket. Before connecting to
2SA, confirm the line properties. There are four optional cables depending on different
line properties:

V.35 DCE cable
z
V.35 DTE cable
z
V.24 DCE cable
z
V.24 DTE cable
One end of the cables is connected to the router side via the DB-50 connector, and the
connection of the other end of the cables is varied with the network side to which it is
connected.
Caution:
You have to select from the above four types of cables when buying the 2SA/4SA module, for these cables
are not supplied along with the module.
