1.1 Naming Rule
This section describes the meanings of the AR200-S names.
Figure 1-1 shows the AR200-S naming rule.

Field Description
B1 0 (AR200-S): indicates a low-end case-shaped product.
B2 Fixed at 2, indicating an enterprise access router.
B3 Fixed as 0, indicating a case-shaped product that does not provide
subcards.
B4 When B1 is 0, B4 indicates the type of the fixed uplink interfaces on
the AR200-S (enterprise access gateway). The meanings of B4 values
are:

1: FE/GE
l
7: ADSL-A
C1 C1 consists of one or two uppercase letters.

W: WLAN
l
V: voice
D1 l A: AC power supply (This is the default configuration. You can
change the power type based on the actual requirements.)
l D: DC power supply
l S: small office and home office (SOHO)
