4. Squeeze the two release tabs on the system fan together to release it from the chassis.
5. Remove the system fan from the chassis.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Removing and replacing the drive blank
CAUTION:
To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless all bays are
populated with either a component or a blank.
Procedure
1. Extend the chassis from the rack .
2. Remove the access panel .
3. Remove the drive blank.
