Removing and replacing the HPE Smart Storage Battery

Procedure

1. Power down the server

.

2. Open the cable management arm

.

3.

Remove all power:

a.

Disconnect each power cord from the power source.

b.

Disconnect each power cord from the server.

4. Remove the management module

.

5.

Disconnect the HPE Smart Storage Battery cable.

6.

Remove the HPE Smart Storage Battery.

To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
