Install hot-plug drives.
CAUTION:
To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless
all bays are populated with either a component or a blank.
Populate drive bays based on the drive numbering sequence. Start from the drive bay with the lowest
device number. For device numbering information see "SAS and SATA device numbers (on page
15
)."

Install the fan modules and the fan blank (on page
31
).
17.
Install any full-length PCI expansion cards that were removed ("

" on page
63
).
18.
Install the system air baffle (on page

).
19.
If removed, install the PCI air baffle ("
PCI air baffle option
" on page

).
20.
Install the access panel (on page

).
21.
Return the server to an upright position.

Install the front bezel (on page

Connect each power cord to the server.

Connect each power cord to the power source.

Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
