Viewing, Applying, Reverting, and Saving Changes
As you use the configuration menus to set GbE2 Interconnect Switch parameters, the changes
you make do not take effect immediately. All changes are considered pending until you
explicitly apply them. Also, any changes are lost the next time the GbE2 Interconnect Switch
boots unless the changes are explicitly saved.
While configuration changes are in the pending state, you can:

View the pending changes
Apply the pending changes
Revert to restore configuration parameters set with the last
apply
command
Save the changes to flash memory
Viewing Pending Changes
You can view all pending configuration changes by entering
diff
at any CLI prompt:

diff
You can view all pending configuration changes that have been applied but not saved to flash
memory by entering
diff flash
at any CLI prompt:

diff flash
