2.5-inch drive
Follow these steps to remove a 2.5-inch drive:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (see
Preparation for disassembly on page 21
).
2.
Remove the access panel (see

Remove the drive cage (see
).
4.
Remove the 3.5-inch drive (see
).
5.
Remove the three Torx-15 M3.4×7.3 screws (1) that secure the 2.5-inch drive to the drive cage.
6.
Remove the 2.5-inch drive (2) from the drive cage.
Reverse this procedure to install a 2.5-inch drive.
