Internal Cabling Configurations
The following sections describe internal signal cabling configurations for the
ProLiant ML530 Generation 2 server hardware options.
Internal Drives and Storage Devices
Internal storage devices in the server require minimum cabling, as described in the
following section, and include:

Storage devices in the removable media bays
•
DVD drive in the CD-ROM drive bay
Storage Devices in the Removable Media Bays
ProLiant ML530 Generation 2 servers support installation of SCSI or IDE storage
devices into the removable media bays. Devices supported include:

SCSI devices:
— Digital Linear Tape (DLT) drive
— Digital Audio Tape (DAT) drive
— Advanced Intelligent Tape (AIT) drive
— Two-bay hot-plug SCSI drive cage
