HP MediaSmart Server User's Guide

The USB Drive Detaches During a Backup

If the USB drive detaches from the server for any reason during the backup, the backup will fail.
Once the USB drive is successfully seen by the server again, the next back up should work as long
as the USB drive is in a healthy state.
