Reverse this procedure to install the USB board.

To remove the fingerprint reader board, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the fingerprint reader board, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

Remove the bottom cover (

Bottom cover on page 32

Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see

Battery on page 41

Remove the solid-state drive to the left of the battery (

Solid-state drive on page 40

Remove the fingerprint reader board:

Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screw (1) that secures the fingerprint reader bracket to the computer,
and then remove the bracket (2).

Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the fingerprint reader board (3).
