PADS OFF

monitor message displays, check all patient connections.

Select pads as the ECG source by pressing Lead Select until

PADS

appears on

the display under the heart rate.

Set the Energy Select control to desired energy.

Press Charge.

Call out "Clear!" to alert personnel to stand away from the patient.

Wait for the charge done indicators.

10 Press both Shock buttons simultaneously to defibrillate. The Shock (

) but-

tons for the multifunction defib electrodes are on the cable connector housing.
