2.8.2 PDU for Scalable Visualization Array (SVA)

Scalable Visualization Arrays use a 40A PDU that mounts to the vertical rack frame. No additional
power strips are required.

Figure 2-36

shows the position of the PDU in the rear for the rack.

Note:

The PDU is mounted within U38. Viewing the back of the rack, the PDU mounts to the right rear
side of the chassis.

The PDU is provided with the following features:
•

Vertical mounting in the rear of the rack, maximizing space (no additional parts are required
for mounting)

•

Power cord retention bands

•

A front panel display that indicates operating parameters

•

A color-coded branch circuit
