Setting up the Link

This section describes how to set up aurora

Tempo

for frame

relay testing on the selected interface. It tells you how to set
the DLCI address length, the interface and circuit types and
how to configure SVCs and PVCs. It also details how to set
minimum and maximum SVC and PVC DLCI values.

Accessing Link Configuration

•

After selecting an interface and the Frame Relay
application, choose

Link Config

from the

Interface

menu. The

Link Configuration

menu is displayed :

Tip

You can display Frame Relay status information from
any window. For details on how to do this please refer to
Chapter 3 - Displaying Status Information. In addition,
you can also view Frame Relay link parameters - please
refer to Displaying Frame Relay Settings in Chapter 6 for
further information.
