Frame Relay Testing - Section 3

When aurora

Tempo 

is configured with:

•

one interface active

•

file logging active

•

frame size 64 bytes

the typical performance achieved is 3000 frames per second
received, and 3000 frames per second transmitted, at the
same time. For further information, please contact your
aurora

Tempo

 supplier.

If the performance limit is exceeded,

, is displayed. At the same time if the audio

warning is switched on, an audio warning sounds. For
information on audio warnings, see Switching Audio
Warnings On and Off in Chapter 6.

The audio warning only sounds while frames are being
dropped.

The warning is displayed at the top of the screen until
you reset the history:

Press the STATUS key, then press F5 

Reset History

If performance is exceeded while data or results are being
captured, an indicator that this has happened is added to
the results.
